Jun Hyera aesthetics: general “It was always in the middle of the night when I felt loneliest in that cell, I used to dream about what life would’ve been like if I’d been normal, whether I’d be in medical school right now ---or if my parents owned a dog. I’d get angry because I wanted what everyone else seemed to have, companionship. But i realised soon enough, that I’d had that for months prior, I did have family, but I’d just lost them again. It was always a cycle, I’d stay then go, leave and return. This life pains me too much, but I can’t bear to leave it behind because it’s all I know. I don’t know when it will stop, but I can’t tell the truth about what happened either; because nothing or no one can destroy the relationships that I haven’t already ruined myself. I wanted someone to save me in those months, but in the end I was left with only myself & I knew then that the pleas I’d made to save lives and to do good just didn’t apply anymore, I needed to survive & I had to forget.”
