“Well, that's never stopped you from making me look incredible!” As she spoke, Giselle leaned forward to examine herself, although it was little more than a reflexive habit. She knew there wasn't anything wrong with the work Cindy had done. “Are you excited to finally go back home after tonight's show?”

“Absolutely. I love touring, but after the run we've had, it'll be good to get back to Korea.”

“Definitely.” She stood up and turned towards her companion, nodding in agreement while looking at the lavish dressing room they were standing in. “We're definitely ending things off with a bang, though, huh?”

“You can say that again!” Misoo laughed. “I guess Japan is even more excited to have you than South Korea!”

“No kidding!” 

The two of them looked around the fully furnished, almost decadent dressing room for a few seconds before Cindy finished packing up her supplies. As soon as she was done and her bag had been snapped shut, she looked at her friend and asked, “Did you still want to see the sights after the show?”

“Absolutely! Who knows when I'll be in Tokyo again!”

“Great! I'll meet you back here afterwards then!”

“Perfect, see you then! And thanks again!”

“You're welcome.” She chuckled, slightly embarrassed by the praise she was being given. “Break a leg out there!”

“Thank you!”

They shared a quick hug and a smile before Misoo turned away to leave the dressing room. As soon as she opened the door, she found her path blocked by a wizened Japanese man in a tailored black suit, his left hand raised into the air like he was about to knock. “Oh! E-excuse me, sir!”
