Kei Miura Designed Aero-Kit Will Come With Every Scion tC Release Series 10.0
Remember what we mentioned earlier about going out with a bang? Well, here it is—set for its grand debut at the upcoming New York International Auto Show, the final tC model to make its way to showroom floors before it’s pulled from the family is this Scion tC Release Series 10.0, and for this, we pulled in a very special guest to help us do the honors in designing it: Kei Miura of TRA Kyoto. We couldn’t think of a better place to show the car for the first time either—the NYIAS was where we launched the Scion brand 14 years ago.
Back to the tC RS 10.0. This special partnership with Miura-san is undoubtedly going to be the dream tC that enthusiasts have been waiting for. He gave the car a special aero kit, one that isn’t as wild as his usual creations but give the tC a more street-friendly vibe, which includes a new front lip spoiler, side skirts, rear lower spoiler and a familiar shaped duck bill trunk spoiler.
The body comes in a special Barcelona Red paint, and to contrast it, the car will come with black emblems and gloss black wheels.
Performance-wise, the tC RS 10.0 comes with a TRD dual exhaust system and is lowered with TRD sport springs.
Inside, you’ll find red accented stitching throughout, and exclusive Release Series floor/cargo mats, red seatbelts and a limited-edition, sequentially numbered badge.
It’ll come equipped with your choice of a 6-speed manual gearbox or sequential automatic transmission with paddle shifters. A total of 1,200 RS 10.0 tCs will be released with pricing to be announced at NYIAS.
