@orbaerex
Ax sat leaning against the rear wall, facing the doorway, elbows crooked over his knees, eyes on an infinite point someplace ahead of him while panting hard. His chest was on fire, and his heart racing like a spooked herd of bordok.
Weapons!
She was insane right?
āYouāre kidding rightānow?!ā He was not nearly foolish enough to say āfistā, hitting Hyuna was difficult (if not almost impossible) and no it was not cause of his usual distaste in hitting a woman. Honestly, she ducked, dodged and weaved around him so much he would have likely given himself a metal now to actually land a blow on her.
āUh. No preferenceāI mean no weapons!ā No, he didnāt want a weapon cause he was pretty damn sure she would turn disarming him into a rather painful, bruise issuing, mat munching spectator sport.
When Ax had first agreed to train with her, Hyuna had been quite surprised. Ā He hadnāt seemed like the patient sort that was willing to deal with her intensity. Ā Yet here heās still here, weeks after she first roped him into training and he hasnāt run for the hills yet. Ā She thinks that maybe itās because heās a little crazy. Ā Or perhaps sheās underestimated him.
His surprised response is enough to make Hyuna let out a short, loud laugh and she gives him a look that says āof course right now idiot.ā Ā Still, she doesnāt try to make him get up from his spot on the wall. Ā Instead, she adjusts her high ponytail and walks to the opposite end of the room. Ā āCatch your breath then. Ā Weāre just getting started.ā
Picking up two sturdy walking sticks, Hyuna weighs them in her hands for a moment and when sheās satisfied she nods. Ā A remark about The First Order fighting is on the tip of her tongue but she decides to swallow it back. Ā No one needed to be reminded of how that regime fights. Ā Turning to him, she tilts her head to the side, curious. Ā āUnless of course youāre too tired?ā
