Boulder: What is your favorite Pokemon?

I don’t know if this “shows my age” or whatever but I only remember there being 151 Pokemon. So out of those 151, I have to say Ponyta is my favorite. I love horses but moreso when I was younger and into Pokemon so Ponyta has always had a special place in my heart.

Basic: If you could have any Pokemon team, what would it be?

…I don’t know what a Pokemon team is?

A quick Google search has told me a Pokemon team is a set of 10 Pokemon that is, essentially, your “front line” in a battle.

Okay, I can do this (no I can’t, I cheated and had to look them up):1) Rapidash2) Blastoise3) Alakazam4) Nidoking5) Vileplume6) Primeape7) Magneton8) Dodrio9) Onix10) Flareon

It never said they couldn’t be evolved so…I really took advantage of that.

Jet: What makes you happiest?

When I’ve done a job well done that I haven’t procrastinated on. When I can go to bed knowing that I’ve done everything in my power to have a desirable outcome and the rest is up to God. That I’ve done a good job on something and, no matter the result, there will be a positive outcome.

That gives me a content satisfaction that not even a nice cup of tea and a book can bring.

Rainbow Badge - Favourite Starter Pokemon? Toughie! My first thought is Pikachu. Pikachu is a starter Pokemon. It was my starter Pokemon. My first Pokemon game (and my first video game ever, for that matter) was Yellow. I was six years old and that little Pikachu was everything to me. So I'll always have a soft spot for it. 

However, aside from Pikachu my favourite is probably Snivy. It's really hard to choose, but that evolution line is so elegant and lovely, and I'm a sucker for plants really, despite the fact that grass types have so many weaknesses. 

Marsh Badge - What are some of your talents/strengths? Ooh some of these asks aren't Pokemon related! Okay, strengths/talents. Um. Yeah I'm gonna make this about Pokemon again. I can name almost any Pokemon from seeing a picture and in most cases even a silhouette? Not so much with gen 6 but I'm getting there. Also I can almost sing the 1st gen Pokerap. Need more practice though. 

irl I guess I'm fairly good at map reading and if I take a certain route once I'm good at finding the same route again. 

Basic Badge - If you could have any Pokemon team, what would it be? This is probably the toughest question. Gardevoir, Arcanine, Dragonite, Azumarill, uummmm Darkrai... Lucario. Probably a good mix? Psychic, Fairy, Fire, Dragon, Water, Dark and Fighting? Might replace Dragonite, though. Honestly it depends on whether this is for actual fighting use or just a dream team of favourites, because I love Dragonite more than life itself, but Dragon is only supereffective against Dragon and now has weakness to Fairy as well as Ice and there's probably a better Pokemon I can put in that spot. Maybe Zebstrika. Always found my Zebstrika really useful in Black/White. And I don't know about Darkrai. But I do want my Darkrai. 

I should point out at this time that I've never been interested in competitive battling and have no idea what a 'good' team would comprise of in that respect. 

3.  I think my favourite colours are generally in the blue shades.  Baby blue, TARDIS blue, royal blue, etc.  I just love blues.

6. Um, yeah, I do. A lot of people see me as being very good at things that I don't think.  I'm really, really harsh on myself.  Someone will tell me I'm really nice or I make a great Clara or Molly and I don't quite believe them.  Someone came up to me at Gally and told me that they really admired me and everything and I was just really struck by it, because I didn't see why.
