This commission from Aeolus06 (with anonymous colored versions) features Timothy Lim's visual marvels, the Kamen Corps., from his and Mark Pellegrini's indie comic, Kamen America. From left to right, we have Kimiko Kaneko a.k.a. "Instant Hydro-Heroine" Kamen Ramen (previously Ramen Rider), Charlotte "Carly" Vanders a.k.a. "Fighting Fashionista" Kamen America (formerly Warhen), and Misha Lovacova a.k.a. "Combustive Combatant" Kamen Comet (codenamed "Meteor" in addition to her full name). As they embodied a number of superhero references, I figured that a Sentai pose might be fitting for them, namely one based on Taiyo Sentai Sun Vulcan (ironic considering that's the only Sentai in the history of the franchise consisting exclusively of male members). In addition with the monochrome sketch, there are two color versions: one so the can viewer see the lady warriors' costumes and elemental powers more clearly. The other has a background showing the flag colors of the nation our heroines & I call home (whether they were born there [Carly, my generation of family members and me onward] or not [Misha, Kimiko, and the previous two generations of my family), the United States of America. If it wasn't apparent until now, this whole thing was requested closer to the 4th of July.
