Generally speaking, Apothderium Attraction feels like a deep, enthusiastic, & devoted love/attraction. To some, it may feel like being someone (or multiple someones!) soulmate. Further examples are:

Wanting to be in someone else's life forever, through the good & bad moments, & everything in between.

Loving every part of someone else, even the bad or "ugly".

Devotion towards someone else, such as loyalty towards them & their actions, or enthusiasm towards them & their hobbies, work, etc.

Loving someone else passionately, longing for them even when together, & desiring to get closer even when you are already so close.

Feeling destined or fated to be with someone.

What does an Apothderium Relationship look like?

Partner A & Partner B getting married "young" since they know they will be together forever.

Partner B being Partner A's number one supporter of their hobbies, always showing up, buying things for Partner's hobby, commissioning Partner A, etc.

Partner C supporting Partner B's cause or advocacy vehemently.

Partner A & Partner C being in a worshiped/worshiper relationship structure, such as a nichelink. Partner A gives Partner C offerings, such as home cooked meals, trinkets, etc. Partner C gives Partner A blessings, such as aid in what Partner A needs to do.

Hopefully this doesn't need to be said, but more "intense" forms of apothdelity, & of course any personal interactions with others, should only be preformed with consent. Always communicate with your partner(s) to make sure everyone is okay with the relationship structure!

Who might use or find Apothderium Attraction helpful?

Deity, Divine, & God/Goddess/Etc Alterhumans, Nonhumans, & System Members, such as those who feel devoted in return to devotion towards them.

Immortal Alterhumans, Nonhumans, & System Members, who truly want to live with someone forever.

Canine/Dog Alterhumans, Nonhumans, & System Members, who feel strong loyalty towards those they love.

Neurodivergent Individuals with Obsessive Symptoms, that result in "loving too strongly".

Aemuloime Attraction: a type of attraction characterized by copying, imitation, & mimicry. this could be copying, imitating, or mimicking others, and/or wanting to be copied, imitated, or mimicked, for entertainment, as a form of flattery and/or affection, wanting to “be” someone/wanting someone to “be” you, etc. made with alterhumans/nonhumans in mind, as well as neurodivergent individuals, but not exclusive.

this attraction may be felt entwined with or at the same time as Amoinvidian (link), Envious (link), & Offis (link) attraction, but doesn’t have to be.

Aemuloime terminology can be decided by the user! but here’s some terminology we came up with:

aemush or aemulush; who one has aemuloime feelings for

aemu or aemupar; one in an aemuloime relationship

imitaem; the one being copied, imitated, or mimicked in the relationship

effiloime; the one copying, imitating, or mimicking in the relationship

aemuship or consoime; an aemuloime relationship

aemulity or aemuloimity; one’s aemuloime orientation

Before we answer these questions though, we'd like to mention that this is not an exhaustive or exclusive list of what Aemuloime Attraction feels & looks like; This is just enough examples to further explain Aemuloime Attraction than originally defined!

With that out of the way, let's begin.

What does Aemuloime Attraction feel like?

In its most simple form, as originally defined, Aemuloime Attraction feels like wanting to copy, imitate, or mimic someone, or wanting to be copied, imitated, or mimicked. Below are some more examples & expanded examples of how Aemuloime Attraction feels & presents itself;

Someone wanting to either be someone else, or just not themself, & alleviating this by copying, imitating, or mimicking others.

Someone finding the act of being copied, imitated, or mimicked flattering, or entertaining & fun.

Someone feeling that they don't fit in with others or society, & combating this by copying, imitating, or mimicking those they feel do fit in.

Someone finding themself/something about themself unpleasant, but feels comfort when seeing others with those traits.

Someone idolizing or looking up towards another, & copying, imitating, or mimicking, said individual to feel closer to them.

All of these examples could have many reasons for what causes them, some examples being atypical dysphoria, alterhumanity, mental & physical illnesses/symptoms, systemhood, etc. In the end though, what all these examples share is the act of copying, imitation, or mimicry.

What does an Aemuloime relationship look like?

All Aemuloime relationships include, to some degree, the acts of copying, imitation, or mimicry. Below are some specific examples of how an Aemuloime relationship could look like;

Partner A getting into similar interests & hobbies as Partner B as a result of Partner B wanting Partner A to copy their interests & hobbies.

Partner A dying their hair brown because Partner B & Partner C have brown hair, & Partner A wants to mimic their looks.

Partner A starts wearing dark blue colored-contacts because Partner B has light blue eyes, & Partner A wants to imitate Partner B's eye color.

Partner A & Partner B start drawing in more cartoonish art styles because Partner C has a cartoonish art style.

Partner A makes their body movements more noticeable so Partner B can mimic them easier.

Partner A explains their daily schedule in detail so Partner B & Partner C can imitate it.

It's worth noting that an Aemuloime relationship doesn't guarantee that one partner will fully mimic another, & instead might only mimic a few, or only one thing. Those in an Aemuloime relationship also don't have to exclusively be mimicked or be mimicking, they can do both!

Who might use or find Aemuloime Attraction helpful?

Any alterhuman/nonhumans & neurodivergent individuals might find Aemuloime Attraction useful, but here's some more specific examples;

Mimic or Shapeshifter Alterhumans, Nonhumans, & System Members, such as those who mimic others instinctively.

Anyone who copies, imitates, & mimics others to understand them better, such as those who do so out of curiosity or an urge to gain knowledge.

Neurodivergent Individuals who aren't aware of social norms, & mimic others in social situations.

Neurodivergent Individuals with anxiety, such as social anxiety, who imitate others to feel safer.

Neurodivergent Individuals with avoidant symptoms, such as AvPD, who copy others to avoid showing their own self/identity.

Anyone who feels they lack an identity, & copy, imitate, or mimic others to make/give themself one.

While Aemuloime Attraction was made specifically with alterhumans & neurodivergent individuals, it is not exclusive to such. The above examples only mention them often because this section is focused more or specific people then general people.

Ideaemu: a term for experiencing aemuloime (link) attraction towards individuals where gender is not a factor, & instead being attracted towards the “idea” of someone, their abstract qualities, character, or “personality”. this is usually defined by a lack of physical preferences, or not experiencing/comprehending gendered attraction; a term for experiencing aemuliome attraction towards someone regardless of gender or physical appearance.
