Nina Dobrev

Let me tell you about Nina Dobrev, I have always have such a hard time with this faceclaim, I rarely care for characters with this fc. Blame it on years of bad experience but there are rarely Nina fcs that I enjoy. Then bring in @phoebetcnkinrps, an absolute goddess to show me the error of my ways because she brought Emma Sawyer into my life and I will tell you this right now. I am fucking obsessed with this character. She’s multidimensional and I high key stalk her interactions because I’m just really in love with this character. Hannah has saved Nina.

Candice Accola

Admittedly, this is a faceclaim I typically play in groups I join. She’s just a face I’m really comfortable playing so I don’t get to interact often with other Candice faceclaims. Maybe I make her a twin some time and find out?

Chris Wood

I adore Chris as a faceclaim and have pretty good interacts with his faceclaim. It not usually a faceclaim that sticks around long though so I don’t really have a positive or negative thing to say about this faceclaim in regards to ones I’ve rped with.

       As the sunlight tickled Gwen’s nose, she wished it never would have woken her up in the first place. One reason for that was the awful hammering headache that immediately made her want to throw up. But the bigger reason was the memory of last night that slowly came crawling back to her. She figured with how drunk she had been, she wouldn’t be able to remember anything that happened last night. And honestly, she would have preferred it that way. It would have been so much easier if she remembered nothing because then she could easily act as if nothing had happened.

       But the longer she stayed awake, the more memories came back to her. She remembered arms wrapped around her, carrying her through dark alleys all the way here. Careful hands changing her clothes and tucking her into bed. A soft voice that told her to go to sleep and laughed about her drunken joke at the same time. And then there was Gwen, half-asleep in bed, who was so amazed by those caring hands tucking her in that she just blurted out ‘I love you’. Three stupid words that could entirely destroy her friendship. And God, she didn’t want to lose her best friend. They had been friends for so long now, she didn’t think she would be able to survive without her best friend. Yet there had been these lingering feelings that just grew and grew with every passing day, until she couldn’t ignore them anymore. Until she couldn’t ignore how angry she got when she had to listen to the other people in her friend’s life. She was furious that there were others, and that it was never her. Until last night, when she was so drunk she didn’t care anymore and just told him all about it. 

         A groan left her lips as she pulled the blanket over her head, wishing for the ground to open up underneath her and swallow her whole. But her headache was so bad she could hardly bear it, and after a few minutes had passed, she slowly got out of bed, dressed in the first clothes she could find, and snuck her way out of the bedroom and towards the bathroom, where she kept her aspirin. She had actually expected to be alone, but as she passed the kitchen, a shadow moving around caught her eye and she couldn’t help but stop in the doorway. 

         May was surprised to see that hardly anything about her hometown had changed. While her life had not only been turned upside down once but twice since she left for college at the young age of eighteen, this town still looked more or less the same. Sure, some small cafés promising vegan food and juice shops selling green detox juice had popped up here and there, but other than that it still looked pretty much the same. As she fled the chaos of her new apartment to go for a run she passed the ice cream shop where she bought a huge banana split on every single one of her birthdays, the shop where she bought her prom dresses, her hairdresser who told her not to go redhead, the house in which her best friend from high school days grew up, and her school. While the town had hardly changed, the people surely had. She saw almost no familiar faces, and when she did, they had grown older quite a bit. After all, it had been over ten years since she’d last set foot in his town.

          But after having her heart ripped into pieces, she needed to go somewhere else. She sold her apartment with the bat of an eyelash and handed her tiny fitness studio over to her best friend and co-worker. Her dad had promised her that he had a location for a new studio close to the new apartment he acquired for her, and it was beautiful. May was happy for a new start. Yet as she ran through the park, her heart still hurt with every step she took, and to the rhythm of the music she was listening to, her mind played a tiny little movie trailer in front of her eyes that mostly included her ex-boyfriend, entirely naked with another woman in their bed when May came home early from a fitness trip.
