Heathen YouTuber Ocean Keltoi on Rán and her husband, Ægir

Beneath Cruel Fathoms by Anela Deen is the only piece of fiction I have personally come across (so far) where Rán is a featured character. This book is essentially a loose, gender-swapped retelling of “The Little Mermaid” and the main character’s merman love interest is one of Rán’s children and much of the story takes place in Ægirheim. I’m not usually much of a fan of the paranormal romance genre, but other parts of the story still kept me pretty engaged. I think this is one of the few paranormal romance novels I’ve heard of where the characters are adults rather than teens that isn’t full-on erotica. If you’re a paranormal romance fan, you might like it. Unfortunately, the only place I’ve found it available - be it physical copies or e-Books - is Amazon (or eBay).
