I can’t believe it’s been…what, five years since I last played her? And yet, it’s Lilah. It’s always Lilah. I love all my characters, but Lilz is my girl. She’s the one character that I think of with such fondness that it’s hard to explain or properly put into words. I hope I get another Lilah experience someday. A few characters have come close, but not enough to replace her as my #1.

I’m one of those weird people who doesn’t like repeating the use of an FC because it sort of takes away from the character, you know? Like, in a way, it makes them less special or less them. Once I’ve used a specific FC, it’s associated with that one character for life (unless I feel like changing them down the road, but still.) However, I find that I always go back to Halston Sage. I’ve been using her as a FC since 2013, and I’m very protective of her because of that. Like, I feel weird seeing anyone else play her in a certain way. I’ve already used her for a few different characters, although my main for her is my character Tessa (again, who I’ve had as Hals since 2013, just with some personality adjustments.) BUT YEAH, my baby Hals.

This was a close call between Alice, James, and Catalina. James is my oldest and dearest, and Cat is likewise very special to me, but Alice won out in the end. My most bonkers creation, writing Alice takes me to a different plane of existence and for that experience alone, I had to make her number one.

I love Aly and AJ. They are two of the most beautiful, talented and underrated people in the biz. I was lucky enough to see them live in concert last summer, and they’re both gorgeous in person, but AJ?! She is a freaking angel, I swear.  If it weren’t for the lack of resources or my laziness in creating a GIF pack for her (I think I got to about 60-something GIFs before I was too tired to go on) I’d 100% be using her.

My RP kryptonite literally has not changed since I’ve started doing this meme over the years so this is going to be a bit repetitive, whatevs. I’m a big sucker for any combination of the following: hate/enemies-to-friends-to-lovers, characters with off-the-charts sexual tension, a heartfelt break-up to make-up scenario (any situation where a split up couple dramatically/tearfully confess their feelings and get back together? fuck yes) and any form of angst with tears, heartache, comforting and all that good shit.

I could have chose SO many pictures for this, but I went with Han and Leia becuase they were probably the beginning of my love of this trope, but I just love it when you have this bickering pair that can’t get along at all because they’re in love but they’d hate to say it out loud. This is honestly one of my favourite romantic relationship dynamics because it lends itself SO well to both humour and angst and is just so much fun to do. Of my current characters, Ellis and Cat are probably one of the few that fall under this, but it honestly never gets old for me. 

This is so dorky, and I hate that I’m admitting to it but fuck it. I still love characters from the Barbie/Mattel doll universe. I have two characters based on Bratz girls, and way way back I almost opened an RPG based on the MyScene doll characters. BUT ANYWAYS, I digress. I’ve wanted to RP Barbie for the longest time (I had Margot Robbie as my idea of Barbie way before she was announced to be playing her for the movie, BTW.) Ship wise, I’d love to do her and Ken because I’m a child in a young adults body, and c’mon, Margot and Zac? Are they not the perfect Barbie and Ken?

I’ve never created my own RP from scratch, nor do I have the time to do so, but I have a soft spot in my heart for small town RPs and if I ever were to create one, it would be something like that with a simple plot and a focus on the characters and their connections to each other. Similarly, I’m not currently in any RPs (recs are highly welcomed though!), and if I were to join one it would most likely be a similar theme.
