No Excuse for Abuse
There is never, E.V.E.R. an excuse for abuse! When I hear about children being sexually abused it breaks my heart. What breaks my heart even more is knowing that something could’ve been prevented if people didn’t make an excuse for an association with a registered sex offender.
That’s where I’m at today in a nutshell, so instead of sitting and festering I’m just going to put this right here. If you make excuses for someone’s actions in the past, present, or future you need to stop. A very wise woman once told me that when a person shows you who they are you need to trust them. A duck is a duck, is a duck, is a duck, is a duck. Period.
While I cannot discuss where or why this is coming out right now, I can articulate how disappointed I am in people right now. I can express my utter disgust that any human would think it is okay to put a child at risk because you are lonely. It is not okay and it should not happen, yet it continues to perpetuate every single day.
