One is what-if the Vanadis Incident didn't happen. Suletta gains two by having a larger family out of the gate and no longer being a pawn in a long game. But, she likely still won't have the greatest time at school due to the fact she's directly affiliated with Ochs Earth and Gundams, both of which go against the Benerit Group's interests So, Sophie and Norea might get involved earlier in the story due to Ochs Earth and Vanadis still being around as they were prior to Delling deciding that murder was the only answer.

The other is much more out there, and I'm not sure which route I will take: Gundams are far more powerful and can directly influence reality.

Either make all Gund-Arm suits as powerful as the Unicorn Gundams or Permet acts as an amplifier for spells, thus allowing users to access extremely powerful magic while piloting a mobile suit. The latter allows me to write people using magic outside the confines of a mobile suit as well.

Or perhaps I go full insane mode and merge the two together!

Just got to chapter 7 of Red Tempest and I am absolutely loving it!

The worldbuilding around permet and Benerit Space has been fascinating to watch unfold as familiar characters explore a setting not familiar to them or the audience.

Really digging this version of Elnora/Prospera too. She cares for Suletta and the crew at large, even if she has a very hard time expressing it. I've only read the very beginning of chapter 7, but I like that she is aware that peace will never suit her in the long run. Despite all the years that have passed since she liberated herself from that permet mine, so many of the habits she formed in that time of her life still drive her forward. Giving herself tasks that can be repeated constantly (mining or pirating) and keeping others at an arm's length, so as not to cause any grief later.

It would be interesting to see how this version of Prospera interacts with her canon counterpart. So many of her core characteristics are cranked up to 11 in the worst way possible (affectionate). Not to mention, canon Prospera's cold and casual treatment of Suletta. While Red Tempest Prospera still somewhat keeps Suletta at a small distance, she does ultimately care for her as a daughter figure. Arguably, more than her canon counterpart can claim.

Also, I love that the fic has exactly 333,333 words. Perfection.

This was lovely to read, thank you! I spent two years working on ART and its characters so to know people still appreciate the story is incredible.

goodbye? I mean I’m literally saying my opinion and the parallels I saw in conjunction with the openly zionist parties factually part of Arcane’s production. I presented my argument and why multiple times now so if anything ur the one making a dramatic production based on an attachment to a fictional show just bec I disagreed with you. Part of media comprehension is criticizing the aspects you personally found in poor taste considering the political climate. Media doesn’t exist in a fantasy vacuum when your show is deliberately harking to IRL oppression dynamics complete with police brutality. Having a mature and nuanced convo about this is impossible when fans refuse to engage with reality and say everything is just fiction without deeper meaning

For me, it’s about the framing and glossing over of the root of the Piltover-Zaun conflict and how certain characters, like Jinx and all the rebel Zaunites are handled. The show has a very centrist lens by painting them as reckless, destructive, mentally unstable, or too ‘extreme’ in their methods. They cannot have their freedom won, only by having it rewarded to them slowly on their oppressor’s terms (Sevika councillor seat etc) As Dr. King said, “Justice too long delayed, is justice denied.” The conflict also, whether intentionally or not, can be easily read as an parallel for certain historical conflicts. Palestine in particular can’t help but be made since Piltover controls Zaun much the same.

Oh that's an easy one. They'd absolutely despise each other LMAO. That's partly what inspired this whole dragon fiasco. They both have depression and self-loathing so meeting yourself would be your worst nightmare. LoC Notrette however... that's another story
