The other night feels surreal. I went to the beach at night with my best friends where we stargazed and talked for hours, listening to Frank Ocean, opening birthday presents, taking photos on old film, watching shooting stars, seeing a lighthouse blinking morse code across the bay, the lights from the docks shimmering a few miles away on the black horizon, the waves crashing beneath us, seeing the milky way, and then sitting up to watch the waves which were glowing with bioluminescent plankton. The air around me was dark blue and when we looked up all the stars seemed to surround us like a globe. I've never come so close to real magic.
