No matter what type of trauma one may be going through; a break up, a death in the family or any sort of bad patch, the cats seem to sense that you are not at your best and will sit beside you giving much needed comfort. Even upon bawling your eyes out, it is a relief to remember that they love you no matter what. After a few minutes, they will force their head under your hand to take one's mind off those troubles. Even that lasts only so long, until attention is shifted to where it should be; on them!
