He just wants to be someone's best friend. . George is a pit mix and is about 2 years old. He came to the shelter as a stray in July 2016. He was supposedly "found" in a yard that had two crates.. but just one dog, and it was George. . Sadly, when George came into the shelter he was very thin and had bite marks on his face and legs that were probably from another dog. Despite what was a very rough start to his young life, George is an incredibly sweet dog who is a can be a shy at first but is super cute and loving. Likely due to his background, George does not always test well with other dogs so he needs to be the only dog in the home.
