Henry couldn’t sleep. And he hadn’t been able to for several nights. Terrible nightmares plagued him whenever he slept. For a while, it had been images of Regina brutally murdering Archie and then killing everyone else Henry cared about. That had been before Archie was rescued. He was alive! Henry had been more overjoyed than he felt he could describe. And yet, the nightmares hadn’t stopped, just changed. Now he saw Archie, trapped aboard the pirate ship, and dying. Dying, as Henry walked by the docks, oblivious to Archie’s plight. These were almost worse than the others; it had almost happened.
But that was why Henry was at Archie’s door at one-o’clock in the morning. And he knew, logically, that his mentor was probably asleep. But Henry needed to see him, to make sure he was okay. Archie wasn’t dead, he was safe now. But the only way he’d believe that was after he physically saw the psychiatrist. Maybe, now that he’d rang the doorbell for the fifth time, Archie would answer the door.
