the roleplay is based off the fables comics and the wolf among us telltale series game. between the two media versions, there’s references to many different fables across cultures and there’s a lot of literary elements included as well. since myths are mentioned in the comics, we wanted to allow greek myths as well in the rp. there’s nothing wrong with there being “so many greek muses” because greek myths are within the premise of the rp. and there’s a lot of greek characters to choose from so it’s easier to default to those when a lot of “iconic” fairytale characters are taken already in the rp.

we allow myths of almost every culture there is. our members can choose whomever they want to be. they don’t even have to be a pre-existing staple character of their genre (like our tiffany who chose to bring in a demigod and created an entire oc!). it’s a fairytale rp but it’s not all elves and witches and wizards and princesses and knights. there’s orcs, gods, talking animals, myths, cryptids, and legends. it goes the extra mile.

FIRST AND FOREMOST: I’m back from vacation! This means I’ll be on the main a lot more now and I have steady internet. I shall be on top of things but I want to give a giant thank you and welcome to Admin Faith! The step up around the main blog has really helped out a lot and I’m really happy to have them on board.

it’s technically “the prince” as the story never really had a name for him. prince charming is actually the one from cinderella (most commonly connected to that fable, anyways). in the twau comics, they do a thing where they blend all common face fables into one character (like prince charming is every single prince from every single princess story and snow white is both snow whites from both tales!). we don’t do that here, though.
