hey everybody !! as you probably noticed, our activity check this week is rather extensive and we wanted to address some things: first, we want to ask you that you try to post more open starters or reply to the ones already in the tags. we know that they can be hard to come up with and we know that closed starters can be easier to write, but we’re asking you this so your characters can interact with more people, which brings us to the next point. please branch out !! there are a lot of incredible characters in our roster and we want to see everyone be involved and included with everyone. so, going forward, we will be including you in the activity check if you don’t have interaction ( and by interaction we mean replies, as texts and discord do not count as activity ) with at least three different characters, or if we notice that you have been using placeholder activity, which is not allowed. lastly and most importantly, going forward, please never hesitate to come to us with concerns you may have about the group, or about any other situations, so we can fix them. 

I have been teasing this for way too long, but I have finally complied everything from my brain and from the internet to make a guide on all things New York City! It’s such a unique and wonderful place with it’s own slang and culture. I’ve made this into a google doc because I will be adding things to it (like a subway map, but I have to do a lot of research on that because it still confuses the fuck out of me), but I will make sure to let you folks know when I do add to it.

Hi everyone! It’s your friendly neighborhood admin here with a little announcement. I have finally created a list of triggers that some of our muns have identified as triggering to them. Please make sure to read the list carefully, and let us know if you would like anything added. Feel free to come to use on anon if you are uncomfortable. As a social worker, I have been trained to always assume that something could be potentially triggering for someone and I’d like for all of you to consider that as well when deciding if something needs to be tagged with a trigger warning or under read more. I also take this very seriously because I have studied the body’s response to trauma and triggers, so I will be making sure these are enforced. HERE is said list.
