Zen is a protector type as most people know
So as soon as MC would wake him up he would go into his protector mode if you will
âMC are you okay?? What happened?â
Zen would stay up the whole night if it meant that he knew MC was going to feel better
We would get them tea or a midnight snack
Really anything to make sure that MC was more comfortable
After MC chills out for the aftermath of the nightmare then Zen would wrap them in a blanket
Then as MC lays there in their little blanket cocoon Zen would kind of just talk to them about his day, really anything to keep MC mind off of the nightmare itself
Honestly not trying to say that he would talk them back to sleepâŚbut he would.
After MC fell back asleep Zen would cuddle up next to them in their cocoon and join them in dreamland <3
If MC had a nightmare around Yoosung
He would lowkey be freaking out because he has no idea what to do
Once both of them calmed down, Yoosung holds their hands
He asks them if they want to talk about the nightmare
If they do, he listens intently and eventually pulls them closer
If they donât, he doesnât push them and just hugs them
Eventually, he asks if they want to play video games to get their mind off it
The two play LOLOL together, MC completely forgetting about the nightmare
Later, when the sun is up and theyâre passing out again, MC presses their lips against Yoosung and murmurs âthank you.â
She would have been working while MC had the nightmare
But when MC comes over to Jaehee with a blanket around their shoulders, looking distressed
Jaehee sets aside her work immediately
Honestly, Jaehee would think that MC was sick at first because of the sweat and pale face
But when MC quietly murmurs that they had a nightmare, sheâs on her feet
She smooths MCâs hair back, pressing a kiss to their forehead
Then she grabs their hand and pulls them to the kitchen
She begins to make fancy as fuck coffee, even using her really expensive coffee grounds and flavorings
During the whole thing, Jaehee is just talking about random things, trying to keep MCâs mind off the nightmare
Eventually, MC sits at the kitchen table, listening to Jaehee talk, smiling occasionally
When the coffeeâs done, Jaehee coaxes MC to the window seat they have
There, they cuddle together under the blanket while sipping coffee
In the middle of a sentence, MC falls asleep, leaning against Jaehee
Jaehee just smiles and kisses their forehead again
In the morning, they both wake up with cricked necks after sleeping awkwardly
Jumin isnât home a lot at night time because of work
But MC knows that he is just a phone call away
So when MC wakes up in a cold sweat from a nightmare about their past they always search the dark room for their cell phone
After MC shakingly looks for Jumin in their phone in only take Jumin 2 rings to pick up
At first, Jumin is wondering why in the world MC is calling for so late into the night
After asking MC what was wrong Jumin is surprised to hear their voice is shaking and their are still sniffling
He is already halfway out of the office door when MC starts telling him about their nightmare
When Jumin tells MC that he is on his way home MC tells him that there is really no need to come all the way back home
But Jumin being who he says that he is going to come home right away
MC finds it very sweet of him to drop everything and come to their side
When Jumin gets home he sees MC sitting on their couch, holding Elizabeth in their arms, sleepily petting her soft white fur
âMC are you alright? Do you need anything?â
âYes Iâm fine really, but can youâŚjust come and sit with me?â
The two of them end up sitting with each other, watching TV and playing with Elizabeth until MC is finally able to head back to bed
Honestly, Seven gets nightmares a lot too
He imagines Saeran and his mother and losing MC
So he completely understands
He doesnât like talking about his nightmares because he doesnât want to seem weak
But when it comes to MC, heâd do anything for them
So when heâs tapping around on his phone one night and MC jerks upright, gasping for breath
Heâs at their side in an instant, grabbing onto them and pulling them closer to them
He asks them if theyâre okay, cupping their face in his hands, gentle and soft
There are tears in the corners their eyes that he wipes with his thumbs, his heart aching
Of course, Seven does what he does best: breaks the tension with humor
He cracks a joke about what the nightmare was about
And next thing he knows, MC gives a choked up little laugh
Soon, heâs making several bad jokes in a row, with MC continuing to giggle in his arms
When he tickles them, itâs Game Over: they lose it, shrieking with laughter and attempting to wiggle away from them
The tickle session turns into a cuddle fest, and, in the dark of the bedroom, tucked behind MC, Seven whispers that they donât ever have to be afraid when heâs around
Because heâll always be there to chase the nightmares away
V is a mom friend so he always wants to protect MC
But he always has nightmares sometimes
So he understands when MC wakes him up at 2 am saying that they canât sleep, they keep having âthat dreamâ again
He never gets mad at this, because little do they know that V has also just woken up from a nightmare
V tries his best to not show that he is always very shaken
The two of them always move into the kitchen where they start to cook, well normally it is baking
The two of them will make cookies, cakes, donut, really anything that is a dough they back it
They talk late into the night until they both start to finally yawn
When the baked goods are out of the oven the two of them have all but forgotten their nightmares
The only thing they really care about now is falling asleep in each otherâs arms
This boy has TERRIBLE nightmares
But MC is always there to help them through all of them
He feels so grateful but also feels bad that heâs being a âburdenâ on them
One night, though, the tables are turned when MC has a nightmare
At first, he has no idea what to do; he stares at MC, panic building up in his lungs
But then he remembers how much he cares for MC and how much theyâve helped him
He puts an arm around their shoulders, asking them if theyâre okay and going through all the coping mechanisms that he knows
Theyâre still shaken by the nightmare, but they immediately curl into his chest, almost sitting directly on his lap, comforted by his warmth
Eventually, he has both arms around them, tucking them under his chin as he rocks them back and forth gently
Itâs that moment that Saeran realizes heâs not a burden to MC
He loves them so much he would do this for them every single night if they needed him to
The first shaky smile he feels against his collarbone is worth the hour and a half of missed sleep
