Hello! We’re arriving closer to the server opening date. With that in mind, we’d also like to point out that the rules have been updated again. The updated version of the rules will be in the server, but if you’d like to take a peek at those now, or haven’t already done so, they are there at your leisure. Thank you for your patience.
Set 5 years after Persona 5, with the server opening 5/5, was that on purpose? :3c
Was it? :3c Just kidding yeah it totally was HAHAHA good catch. The date was my idea.

Hi everyone!
Just coming off of our regularly scheduled promos to remind everybody that we have a FAQ that outlines our most common questions. We’ve been receiving a lot of repeats, so in case your question isn’t answered in the future, please check the FAQ to see if that question is there, or check the #answered asks tag. Thanks!

Soooo I’m considering to apply, but I’m not exactly sure if I have the necessary writing skills for this or not. I’m good at writing descriptions that clearly map out how character’s biography, traits, and mannerisms, but kind of weak when it comes to WRITING-writing a scene. Hence why I prefer drawing them in comics instead of writing. The best I got to writing a scene is a script for a comic I plan on writing, with each panel describing the actions and words. Plus I only have flimsy DnD exp.
At the end of the day, this is written roleplay, which is why we ask for writing samples. In the FAQ, Admin Arsène provided examples of what your samples should look like. Do your best if you apply! And if you don’t apply, you could be a spectator of the story that unfolds. -Admin Quire

Are there any limits on character creation? If I'm accepted I have a character in mind, but they are a foreigner and potentially not a high school student.
Great question! There are no limits to how many characters you can create as of now, but you only can have one persona user, and the persona user’s age must fall between high school age to university age (between 13 to early 20’s). Also, you have to construct a character app for each character you want to bring in. This is to avoid inconsistencies in the story’s meta, grant information to us to make the campaign involve them more personally, and for general organization.Foreigner ocs are completely allowed within the context of the roleplay, but keep in mind that we are playing under the context of a life in Japan, so we’ll be utilizing Japanese customs like using honorifics and native Japanese characters default speak and understand Japanese (even if we type in English). If your character wouldn’t use certain customs because their upbringing is different, that’s alright, but there must be an in character reason.- Admin QuireEDIT: Oh, this is in the rules, but no wildcards either. Thanks!EDIT x2: No non-human ocs.
Hello it is me again, ya lot are probably annoyed with me but hey, gotta ask what I don't know :p Are there any restrictions about our character designs? Persona 5 had a more 'Normal' character designs, so I was wondering if 'Anime 'hairstyles' like a red cacti-like hair is allowed.
Persona 5 doesn’t remotely enter the same realm of character design as like, yugioh or BNHA, but there are some unnatural colors, so there’s definitely a kind of a compromise between reality and fiction.
We’d recommend that if you are accepted, when you submit your character, you consider the in-character reasons behind the design in the context of function, personal taste, and their society’s norms (because that’s what we live in LOL).
If you want more specific guidelines, here’s a doc

Is it okay to create a character that will gain a persona or not depending on how the story goes? I won’t mind having a character just being a confidant or if they play a role as a persona user, but I wanna go with whichever the plot goes and how it would affect my character. I’d like to give my character some freedom for the sake of character studies and development.
You can create any character that you want, but if you think that they, at all, could have the potential to have a persona, you MUST design their persona, and you can only have ONE of these types of people submitted. There is a narrative reason for this, and it’s for the sake of fairness that you can only choose one.
What a player does with their character is up to their discretion (within reason, which is outlined in the Rules), but we require a degree of preparation before players enter into the game.
This is all under the consideration that you had been accepted into the campaign first, of course. Submitting a character comes after reviewing your writing samples. Here you can read how the process will go in greater detail. But if you have any more questions, of course, don’t be afraid to ask.
