[03:00 PM] Looking down at the pavement and holding out a blue box for you to take with red dusting his cheeks, Jisung couldn't look cuter than this moment. "Happy birthday," he greets you quietly.
You smile at him, taking the gift, holding it to your chest. "Thank you, Jisung! You didn't have to get me anything, you know."
"I know," he says. "I'm sorry I didn't give it to you earlier. It's just that I remembered you mentioning to me that you were born at exactly three in the afternoon so..."
"Oh, you remembered that?" you say, your eyes lighting up in delight, making the boy in front of you bite his lip in an attempt to hide a smile. A nod was his only reply, not trusting his words at the moment. "Thanks, Jisung."
You suddenly remember the celebration your parents planned for you waiting at home, making you check your watch. "I'm sorry, I have to go now. Thank you so much for the gift!" you say, hurriedly. Without thinking, you press a kiss to his cheek before running off.
Jisung stood there, frozen, touching his hand to the cheek that you pressed your lip to. 'Did she really just....'
A smile appeared on his face and widened when he finished processing that, yes, you just kissed him on the cheek. The smile didn't leave his face even until he drifted off to sleep, dreaming about the birthday girl.
