ive been trying to figure out a new url for a while, since pyro isnt part of the blog anymore and its mostly focused on jack. im finally happy with what i picked

The other highlight was Once and For All. They boosted the audio and all the cast sang and they ran out into the audience and handed out flyers (I was in the middle and couldn’t get one) and they stayed there until the final note where they all stood together and the stage was illuminated.

The woman who played Kathrine was so great, her voice was warmer than Kara and it was so beautiful and strong with Jacks actor.

THATS RIGHT! This blog has hit 1000 followers! That's so crazy to think about because this blog hasn't even existed for that long. I just really want to thank all of you, on behalf of both of us, for supporting us and for all the love you send.

As promised I wrote a bunch of headcannons about jack with an autistic s/o. This is super important to me bc I am autistic and there are hardly any HCs for autism in any fandom but this one in particular due to the time period. So I fixed that.

Please note that everyone's experience with autism is different and are valid. This is based on my experiences (I love pressure stimming by hugging but only with people I really trust) and in no way is the only way to be autistic. I highly encourage my fellow autistic fansies to add to this post if you have more headcannons!!

-jack is so good at pressure stimming first of all -he wraps his arms around them and squeezes until they tell him to stop and he hums or sways really gently -he is also the master of blanket burritos -if they're having a self injurious meltdown he knows exactly what to do -he hugs them tight so they can't punch themselves and so they can pressure stim -of course that means he takes a few punches but he knows they aren't meaning to -and he really doesn't mind at all he just wants them safe -he also is helpful when it comes to sensory overload -he covers their ears tightly when a bad sound comes -he reminds them to do body checks -"are you understimulated? Do you want to fidget with something?" "Do you want to go somewhere quiet?" -THE KING OF STIM TOYS -literally he always has them in his pocket for them -he also doesn't mind when they stim -he thinks it's super cute when they happy flap over something exciting -but if they start going into sensory overload he is so good about getting them to a better space -his go to place is the theater because it's usually empty and quiet during the day -but if they do have a meltdown he asks permission to touch them and if they say no he just stands by in case they need him -unless it becomes injurious which is when he steps in and pulls them into his chest and holds them there firmly but not so they're stuck and panic more. -And he does the humming thing and gently plays with their hair -"sweetheart I need ya to breathe, slow down and breathe wit me. Can ya do that, doll face? Can ya do it another time? Good, good" -he also watches out for Snyder for them because he knows that if they are caught, they will be locked in the refuge for good -he is honestly just so supportive of his autistic partner -he respects their boundaries (because he's a decent human being) and never forces them into situations they don't want (again bc he's a decent person) -also if they're having a meltdown he sings so softly to them -just loud enough for them to hear so they have to focus to hear, distracting them from their discomfort -JACK KELLY LOVES HIS AUTISTIC S/O SO GOD DAMN MUCH HE WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR THEM
