In a small voice, he says, “These g-girls named Addie and Jenn…they spend all day coming up with new ways to abuse me. Every day it’s a new nightmare and—I just want it all to stop.” Sue blinks at him, frowning a little. Blaine wonders what’s going through her mind. When he told Kurt, Kurt laughed at him, thinking he was joking. It wasn’t until Blaine started crying did Kurt finally say he believed him, though he still looked a bit skeptical.
“They write,” he says in a clear voice. “They write these stories—about me—and it’s actually affecting my life. I experience everything they write.”
Blaine’s eyes fly open. “What?” She’s not laughing. It takes a minute for his brain to process this fact.
“What do they write?” Sue repeats. Blaine’s mouth goes dry. He didn’t expect this reaction at all.
“Uh, I’ve been deaf, blind, mute, bipolar, suicidal, and so many other things. Kurt even cheated on me once! But, when the day is over and I go to sleep, the next morning everything is back to normal,” Blaine says as tears spill from his eyes. “Everyone forgets. Well, everyone but me,” he adds bitterly.
