you know, in some ways i'm glad my house isn't that big, because when i lose an object there's a limited amount of space where it can possibly be. if it was a multistory i'd be up and down those damn stairs a hundred times a day. going downstairs to get my forgotten cup of tea and forgetting my sweater or my phone or my book and then going downstairs to get that and forgetting my cup of tea. i could never be a mcmansion dweller i'd be clocking 20k steps a day Looking For My Whatever amongst the eight bedrooms.
(of course this is all cope for having limited project space bc i live in one of the most expensive real estate markets in the country,)
