Luka has ADHD headcanon longpost
If this wasn’t obvious, music is Luka’s special interest and not only is humming or playing an instrument the way he stims (other than playing with his bracelets probably), he also hyperfixates on music so intensely that it has gradually become the best way for him to get out of a nonverbal headspace and to make sense of social situations (hence all of the “I think this is what’s going on with your feelings in the situation you’re in rn *plays the guitar* am I right?”). This is also why he can understand if “not talking about it” would be the best for Marinette while she’s breaking down bc communicating is fucking hard as hell and he gets it (but that line is mostly about her secret identity but you get the picture).
This also can explain why he’s usually pretty quiet unless he’s fired up and then suddenly feels like everything he’s saying is exploding out of him and he starts uncharacteristically venting (a very common thing with ADHD) like he did in the Silencer ep. this also makes a shit ton of sense in the Viperion ep when he makes sense of the situation he’s in after stimming with his harp, music helps him pay attention to the smaller details and comprehend solutions easier and faster!!! (I love that scene, amazing depiction of stimming💕)
This nonverbal/social issues HC also ties in with the fact that his akumatized self is fucking Silencer, like, of course of course of course of c
