My child like so many use to enjoy You Tube, children’s song, people making up stories with dolls and lord help me unboxing videos.

I of course keep a close eye on what she was watching, YouTube has some dark corners, getting a video of cute baby animals can lead you to videos of human babies with birth defects.

I am always there to pull the plug if anything terrible is shown.

She cannot watch YouTube anymore, because... none of her devices have an add block.

You Tube advertisers include everything from Alcohol to Fat Shaming to Horror Movie Advertisements.

But instead of connecting the adds to connect the way they match adds on google search to product they choose family friendly content as what they can put all their adds on.

My Little Pony sing along videos are not the proper place for an IT trailer. (This is just an example I haven’t seen It exactly, what we got last was that movie Morgan I literally was forced to leap across the room every time it played to top her from seeing it.)

I think that me and my child are being used by YouTube as a funnel for all their add appropriate or not.

I am generally not an “OH think of the children type person” but if you are going to say “Oh think of the children” to Justify everything then please, think about the children.

Children’s content is not safe for all advertisements because the people who consume their content are not safe for all advertisements.   I hope other parents will join me in this concern.
