Chapter 8 will be late
I don’t know how late, but I will try to get it out by the end of the month.
After Chapter 8 is posted, With Cat-Like Tread will be going on (another) hiatus. Hopefully the last one.
Actual outline for an actual fic that is actually in the process of being actually written with an actual cowriter: - I'm thinking hurt/comfort angle here - Wash gets run over by a car, but is too stubborn to admit he's injured and swoons - Sarge catches Wash in his manly arms and sweeps him off to bed - Wash fights the bed (maybe literally due to bad writing) and things get heated - Proceed with smut marathon As you can see, I'm not very big on the formal outlining thing. Sister Marie, the one who taught me the intricacies of formal outlines, is probably rolling in her grave right now. For multiple reasons. RIP Sister Marie.

Chapter 5 will be late
I don’t know how late exactly, but work has been kicking my ass these past two months, and the chapter has been hovering at half-done for about as long.
Also, heads-up, after Chapter 5 is posted, With Cat-Like Tread will be taking a hiatus until 2017 because I need to rebuild my chapter buffer. @_@
Assuming work doesn’t keep kicking my ass, updates should resume in January.
One of the things about driving a car that’s too old to have a CD player (much less an AUX input) is that you listen to the radio. A lot. And, if you’re like me, you also think about RvB. A lot.
And of course, as these things tend to do, these two things come to coincide.

As of this moment, I’ve written more than 20k words of Sargington fic.
