In the confusion and chaos Arthur had somehow managed to lose the vampire that had saved him. Thankfully the blood Casper had given him was working its magic. Arthur was weak and the blood was slowly working around his system but his wounds were healing nonetheless. Still worried for the safety of his siblings Arthur continued to search the haunted house for them. Only when he had looked everywhere would he find a way out of the hospital and begin to search for them elsewhere. He didnât know what things were like outside but surely they were better than in here. Arthur hoped to god they were all outside and safe. He had come here to protect them and had, once again, failed.Â
Despite the risk Arthur called out their names, not sure whether he wanted a response or not. If they didnât respond then hopefully they werenât in here, but if they did then at least Arthur would know they were alive. Then it happened. Arthur heard his name. He was unable to recognise the voice but Arthur headed in its direction. His progress was slow, Arthurâs vision still hadnât fully returned and he was relying on touch to guide him. As soon as he saw the body on the floor Arthur recognised who it was immediately. He may have been partially sighted and they may have been covered in blood but Arthur knew it was Addison.Â
âAddy?â He said, kneeling down awkwardly beside her. âAddy, please answer. Please be...â He was unable to finish he sentence, but Arthurâs eyes welled up with tears as the thought that another one of sisters might be dead.Â
