This... is Adam right before the wedding. He's nervous -- half dressed; didn't want to get his shirt wrinkled so he's not putting it on just yet. He wanted to look perfect for Leigh because every day she looks perfect for and to him. And he has a few moments to himself, just as he is used to, just how he likes it. Adam pulls out the ring and plays with it, examines it in his hand. He's thinking. He's spent almost the entirety of his life as a solitary kind of man. Now he's going to make the biggest commitment in his life to not be a solitary person anymore; to spend the rest of his life with someone else. He used to think that would scare him, and it did, and that was the very reason he never really considered marriage before. But with Leigh? God, was he ever wrong. Even sitting here now, he missed her. It was an impossibility to be solitary when he's found his soulmate. He feels like she'd always silently call to him when they're apart, and they're only just going through motions till they're beside each other again. Adam sits here and smiles to himself. "I've changed,". And how proud of himself he is -- thinking he would always be that odd kid out, the nerd, the outcast. And he still is. But really he just had to find her, someone who truly more than understood who he was, yet loved him for every bit. That's where he belongs.
