For those who may be wondering who I am, and what I do.
My name is of no relevance at this time, I am a creator, of hand made crafts, and my own destiny.
I am a simple witch, natural born. I always knew I was “different” from others and most of my family (I didn’t know there were others till I was much older, even then there is few of us). My mother always told me to question the world, and everything in it. Never to follow the masses, and to make decisions for myself, ask lots of questions and never stop learning--she also told me I no longer had to attend church if I did not wish. So at the age of 7 I made my decision to no longer go. Within the year I had my started question religion and spirituality, my first book on Wiccan/Pagan history and traditions fell into my hand, and I suddenly felt “right” and at home. So now 20 years later here I am.
I do not associate with anyone branch of craft (for those who don’t know there are many, many sectors of craft just as with any religion or spiritual belief! We have Paganism and Wicca or Wicce yes they are very different. Fae, Dianic, Gregorian, and many more...) instead I simply study, I find what I feel is right, and have crafted my own system. (It has no name).
Now with that said, my studies in craft, range far. Some areas I have just the basic understanding, others I have spent countless hours in (some examples would be, candle magick, herbs, crystals, spells of all kinds, invocation rites of all kinds, calling the quarters, numerology, meditation, astral projection, and a variety of other things). I still continue my knowledge on all subjects and wish continue to grow.
I DO NOT claim to be a “professional” witch by any means, advanced yes, and still learning. I can say though however, that I have recently started going back to school to “re-learn” everything I know, but on a more scholarly level. I plan on getting my AAS in Integrative Health, then when the Bachelor’s degree is available I will go back to advance my degree, I also intend on taking on as many available courses that are out, and continue to come out. I look to specialize in healing touch, and energy work, along with heavy emphasis on herbs, oils, crystals and few others. It is my goal and dream to eventually even compose myself well enough to try and see if I can even be sent over seas to some other countries for studies in more Traditional and ancient medicines.
In other words I would like to think of myself as on my way to becoming a “professional” and knowledgeable, scholarly witch. A modern medicine woman.
Now what does any of this have to do with what I create? Well, for those who this will matter and care, when I craft each piece of work, whether clay, or jewelry, whatever the medium--I have taken the time to put a piece of me into each creation. Especially when working with crystals and stones of any kind, I cleanse everything, my space, myself, the crystals and my tools --this is done daily-- I spend time putting positive and healing energies into each one so they are ready to go for the wearer or person who receives whatever creation I’ve made.
Thank you all for the love and support!
Each of you is beautiful in your own way. Love thy self.
Blessed be and may you have positive energies your way.
