waves they say that sadness comes in waves ‘missing you comes in waves’ they say sickness comes in waves with the tide grasping and clawing and rushing intensities but waves stand for so much more like light and sound and happiness But waves come and go. They recede and the clawing stops. the desperation reaches a halt. the tide always comes back, though and that’s where it all starts The back and forth The monotony of movement that everybody seems to drown in. Waves Of everything hit him And he stood silently taking it in Because he knew the tide He knew that he can’t drown that he’d survive that they’d survive because its not waves that are the problem its what we make them bring in with the tide.
