Avalon has been Alex's for nearly a decade and has lived alone that whole time because she always viciously attacked other chinchillas. Especially female chins. Owen has lived with us for a little over a year after @earps.inc took him in from a situation of neglect. He couldn't be placed because he viciously attacks most humans. Especially women. He also had to live alone because he wouldn't ever let up on the dominance stuff with other chins even though he loves being social with them. Well we took a chance and got Owen neutered. And somehow, magically, these two get along beautifully. And I love that they no longer have to live alone. Owen is still nippy at the humans, but Alex was so excited that she sewed them this extra-long cuddling cube. #chinchilla #actuallyitsa #rectangularprism
