does that activ betta live gravel stuff grow plants on it? or is it just rocks with natural water lol i just discovered this stuff and i never heard of it before
It could! I know their Activ-Flora substrate works well for plants but I’m kind of wondering how they make what looks like plain dyed gravel nutritious for plants/full of bacteria? I dunno. I’d have to check it out myself!
Though, looking at their website, they say it has heterotrophic bacteria, which are not true cycling bacteria! (which are autotrophic) So it’s pretty much like a finer eco-complete, which is cool.
