((Ravio/Hilda, Greek Myth AU))
Hilda gripped her sword apprehensively as she grimly surveyed the damage to the temple: marbled columns lay in ruins, statues shattered into dust, and the sacred altar to Lorule’s triforce cracked and broken.
The sounds of enemy hoplites crashing through the doors reached her ears and with a trademark frown, she turned to her companion, the former cowardly mechanic.
Ravio was covered in blood, not his, and shaking, his right hand barely managing to keep a hold on his weapon as he lifted the gorgon-headed Aegis with his left; with a resolute grimace, he managed to nod solemnly at her, “Get behind me, princess.”
