I completely agree with what you said. And I'm also turning 22 this year btw hehe. I don't think it's wrong at all! It's such a wrong idea to think so and people should not be ashamed of it. I just meant that it's weird realizing how I'm in a minority and it's rare for me to find people in the same situation.
