i wanted to make a list of island themes i thought would be fun to try or see other people try to create.
kidcore (primary colors, toys)
baroque (lots of statues, intricate interiors)
pirate/treasure island (palm trees, x marks the spot)
greece (lots of white and blue)
city/urban (busy streets, residential area, central park)
haunted (graveyards, witches)
elf forest (mushrooms, fairy rings, clean exteriors)
paris (cobble roads, little cafes, main riverwalk)
goth (black everything!)
one color island (all orange, all red, etc)
orchard (all fruit trees with matching flowers)
tuscany (open fields, grand house entrance, warm colors)
grunge (metal everything, dirty)
vaporwave (neon signs, neon colors, just neon)
lovecore (red and pink, hearts)
mermaid (beach homes, shell items for landscaping)
nautical (red and blue, small beach town)
tropical (palm trees, hibiscus bushes, bright flowers)
victorian (old furniture, poofy dresses)
minimalist (only one type of flower, minimal interiors)
elements (water, fire, earth, air)
steampunk (mechanical items, vintage items)

Theatre Design Dump! Today’s theme : Phantom of the Opera!
Its time to mix my two loves: Sanders Sides and Animal Crossing!
What theme would each side choose for their islands (in my opinion)?
Roman: He's definitely making multiple islands so he can make a ton of different themes. I think that a Disney themed island with rainbowcore aspects would be his favorite though!
Logan: Dark Academia all the way! I swear his main theme would be dark academia with maybe some more city elements in it.
Patton: This boy...Oh damn...His island would be filled with items. They would mostly go with kidcore or fairycore but oh my lord is it packed with stuff because he doesn't wanna sell anything. He swears, he likes every single item and what if they have a purpose down the line?!
Virgil: Everyone expected this, gothcore. He, however, would also have some dark academia and traumacore aspects. Sometimes, you just want your island to look like your aesthetic but also be a comfort place.
Janus: He has a mix of dark academia and cottagecore. I will fight for this. Honestly, he probably took cottagecore because he heard Virgil was gonna take it and wanted to spite him. But he's fallen in love with the aesthetics too much to admit that that was the reason he originally picked them.
Remus: Obviously, this man picked goblincore and gremlincore. He uses a lot of trash items and no one expected different. But here's the thing: He also has traumacore aspects. He's been through a lot and he just wants his island to be a place of comfort.
Why yes, I did wait a full week so I could change my island theme to “I Don’t Wanna be Free” from A Heist with Markiplier. It’s inspired by the whistling segments as found here.
