My close friends are probably wondering why I haven’t posted any Cure stuff yet…. It’s because it’s overwhelming!!! 🙀 There is so. much. I’m just starting with the first thing I grabbed; the 2013 Austin City Limits stuff that I saved because of what a big deal it was for me to see The Cure AND Depeche Mode at the same festival. They were both amazing, as predicted. This is also the first time I saw Tame Impala live and they blew my mind. Other bands of note were The Black Angels (of course), Atoms for Peace (Thom Yorke and Flea’s band), Pinback, and Purity Ring. In retrospect I wish I’d known about Wild Belle back then, because I love them now. Unfortunately I was too concerned with dancing to take any decent pix or video, so that is all I got.
