Seems I may have injured my Achilles tendon while running. Probably sticking to yoga for a while. I guess I'm an old man now :-\ Life goes so fast!
Non-surgical Achilles treatment with casts. This was my second of two casts for the bad Achilles tear I got a few months ago. Crutches for most of that time, alternating with walking on the cast.
Almost a year ago. Crutch exercise is really good for you. Even if you hobble like 5 blocks, you get a good workout. Even better if you hobble 5 blocks forward and 5 blocks back to your transportation.

Hobbling around with a painful Achilles - April 2025. If you've got bad Achilles tendons (and mine feel like the worst) and you sprain one badly, you can end up casted for many weeks because they take as long or longer to heal than a broken bone.
