They are so convoluted and mysterious. Yet, the story gives us a bit of insight on both of them with how their relationship is/was. Merlin's honest friendship and trust towards Cyran, but his trust to Merlin only alines at certain moments. Suddenly reality hits, his insecurities changes Merlin's words and meaning to fit them into a box Cyran set for them. His rival that just wants him to fail, to be 2nd place always. Never someone to connect with, and what does relationships even give you to be powerful anyways?
Either romantic or platonic, their dynamic is so intriguing and I love it!!!

Spiderman: Brand New Day has awakened my Spiderman hyperfixation. It is all I think about. 10/10 movie but I know my nostalgia is clouding my judgment a bit lolol. Grew up on Tobey's Spiderman, but I literally grew up with Tom's Spiderman. Wild
Everyone's acting was phenomenal, but damn Sadie Sink was so good. Already thought she was a good actor cause of Stranger Things but damn. Plus, Zendaya was amazing on the rooftop scene, Jean as MJ. Literally all I could think in that moment was "damn her acting is so good"

Been so Steddie pilled for the past few years that S5 reminded me of my roots. Stonathan has resettled into my brain and I'm kicking my feet. Steve Harrington and his two "freaks" Jonathan Byers and Eddie Munson. Enemies to Friends to Lovers or just anything man. It's all so good :D!!!!
Since the end of S1, I've wanted Jonathan and Steve to get a slow burn friendship. We know how that goes... The finale finale gave me something, but that development happened off screen like everything else ig so eh...
