Legitimately having to leave these trees behind is the saddest thing about moving house to me
(ignore the propagation box, there was no way in hell I wasn't gonna attempt to grow them back from cuttings in pots this time!!)

idk if I ever posted about these but they're just my little achievement of the growing season
Had two Acer (Japanese maple) trees in the old house that I'd grown up with and couldn't take them with me when I moved out. Went through hell and back trying to propagate them through cuttings, air layering, etc - seedlings turned out to be the successful method! They're for personal use only, I intend to keep them bonsai'd and maybe gift one or two to family members if they survive the winter but I'm just happy with their progress 1 year on~ :)
