Are there any specific evolutionary changes depending on where everyone lives, i.e guys from one village have different shaped teeth cos they eat different things than someone from another village?
Great question!
fur length/density is usually higher in the region of Kugn because they experience colder temperatures, (higher altitude), and their fur leans towards paler colors, which balances out heat intake a little. In places like Conh or Oen where it’s hotter, fur is usually thinner.
As for teeth, I reckon people from Caan have slightly more hooklike teeth as they like to eat raw fish, so it helps them shear the flesh/ keep the meat from falling out. Meanwhile in Tysa, I figure their teeth are more fit for puncturing the skin of fruits.
Of course, the villages haven’t been around long enough for significant physical changes, (aside from digestive accommodations and other internal stuff), only about 930 years or so! The teeth of two people from different regions wouldn’t be as stark as a carnivore vs herbivore setup, but still different enough to be a little noticeable.
So overall, the most changes would be in fur and skin color! (but those are never a given with greefs in particular, because of their ability to change appearance at a young age.)
Thank you for the question!
