Hiii! I love your pretty cure fanseries but I do have a question. How do you come up with themes or concepts to make really interesting and fun characters and ideas. I struggle with making fanseries with interesting themes and wanted to ask for advice on the topic.
Heyo! I think its best if you create a fanseries that you wanna make a not focus on creating something thats mostly for others. Fanseries works are self-indulgend! i dont think any of my themes are particularly interesting... sweets, food, mermaids, heroes, christmas, monsters - nothing out of the ordinary. to give you some actual advise tho about characters! Always look at how each character would work in a dynamic with another character - i think thats how you can rly get the most of them? Like for example you have a bratty know it all lead cure - what character would pair well with this type? Maybe someone who humbles them. And then How would their relationship evolve?
Also consider representing your theme with the characters, but play with them? A knight cure could be stern and serious but they could also be the polar opposite and not actually be suited for the role, but u can explore how its actually a perfect match on the second look

Sorry to hear about all the reposts discouraging you. If you're still up for ideas to disprove them, would you ever consider trying making youtube videos of like, talking about your fancures and showing designs there? If those gained traction then a lot more people would be able to connect your art back to you. Either way, hope you're still doing alright and that this hasn't put you off of precure in any way <333

u have a good point with youtube, but i simply dont have the time for that… also my videos would be incredibly niche idk how youtubes algorithm would like that
