Any thoughts on the coloso course?
it's goated it's peak it's rizzling skibbidi
10 out of 10 doctors recommend the class to anyone who wants to make money from their comics
Any reason why you're learning blender? Is it to learn a new medium or to help block out comic poses and have better references?
a bit of everything! I always wanted to learn how to make my own 3D stuff for fun + to help me during the comic-making process
since I'm kinda not "allowed" to work on the next series right this moment (long story), I have a lot of time --
so I figured I'd make myself commit to learning Blender fr this time, making my own characters + maybe learn a bit of animation
it's energizing to learn this new area of art too! and gets my brain riled up since 3D involves a lot of puzzle-solving
Hey, im looking to write a comic. How would you advise going about it?
make up a guy and give him problems
also if you're wanting answers to a certain problem, it's best to ask specific questions otherwise I can only give generic answers
Sorry, let me specify- I'm conflicted being spending time writing out what I want to show or just starting to block out the comic itself. I know where I want it to go in my mind, but I'm not sure i should write it down and plan it all.
tbh it depends greatly on how you work, but I think it's very helpful to write em all down
you don't have to plot everything in detail, but having a general, overall plan for how the story's gonna go is very helpful
especially if you're writing something plot-heavy!
one of my mistakes I made while making my first series is that I didn't write stuff down ("my future self will remember" <- lmao)
so there are things I forgot to explain, metaphors I was going to include, etc.
