The nation's leading special finance leads, dealer marketing, and car dealer services corporation is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a fast paced office.

The main role of accounts receivable is to ensure receipt of payments and properly record transactions.

Primary Responsibilities: Collect on 500+ accounts by sending bill reminders and communicating with customers via phone, email, fax or mail Monitor customer accounts Maintain telephone and personal contact with customers on receivable matters as directed by Controller Research cash receipts, coding and post receipts Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Research any discrepancies by checking bills, invoices, sales receipts and bank deposit records.

Post payments, research and apply unallocated cash Prepare daily bank deposit. Develop automated spreadsheets, maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

Utilize computerized accounting software programs (QuickBooks, CMS, Excel, Word) to perform duties and responsibilities.

Operate office equipment including personal computer, copiers, fax machines and 10-key calculator, and assist with other projects as needed.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel and Word.

Must be trustworthy, organized with good follow through.

Detail oriented due to level of accurate documentation required per customer.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Fast learner with ability to multi-task

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma and some college accounting classes preferred.
