Steve bit his lip, staring at the floor. Here they were, two grown men both in their pajamas, looking at a box of a friend’s sex toys in a closet in the middle of the night.

He knew just as well as Loki what would be expected of him tonight. He’d washed and primped and cleaned, combed his hair and oiled his skin, clad now in just a simple drape of cloth about his waist. There were other preparations he had seen to, ones not visible, but more vital and necessary than his appearance, and Thor flushed hotly with shame as he thought about those measures.

Steve sat there, frozen. It was clear that the popular student, probable wet dream of damn near every student in the school, who had no interest in Steve or his work, was trying to seduce him for a better grade. Steve wanted to snarl, wanted to spit because he was so angry. Thor really thought this would work? Steve was a good person, he had morals. There was no way he would accept such a...a sleazy, underhanded offer. And yet…if Steve was honest with himself, his hands hadn’t been the only thing to ache when he caught sight of Thor’s face or physique.

Steve froze, and they locked eyes for a moment, Thor’s gaze predatory. For a second, neither moved, Thor’s body a warm weight on Steve’s, and then, ever so slowly, Thor leaned forward the rest of the way and pressed his lips to Steve.

“If you truly do not desire this, then I shall stop. But otherwise, I have no qualms about offering you a bit of...comfort.”

38. I actually got my first tumblr when I was fifteen, back when it was relatively new, because it was new, abandoned it within two weeks because no one else I knew had one. And then I came back when it started becoming active again.
