Making Pump in progress

Don’t get me wrong; I’m not trying to bag on my professors or school, but since we’ve gone online in March, literally none of this has been changed. I 100% understand the beginning of this pandemic was chaos, accessiblity wasn’t a top priority... but it’s been 8 months. I’d consider myself a relatively good student, but in the past 8 months I’ve been struggling due to things far outside my control, the most people don’t recognize:

Auto generated captions on Zoom/Microsoft teams do exist, but they’re essentially worthless. (Unless today in my astronomy course the professor really said “Indiana AIDS North 103 dungarees blanket Masarati”)

Even if the professor is staring straight into the camera, reading lips is near impossible on a video call.

I have Phonak hearing aids, they’re Bluetooth enabled (as they freaking should be at a a whopping $5,500), so I can use them with my phone, but they won’t connect to my school laptop.

I can use headphones over my hearing aids, but if they aren’t positioned *just* right so nothing is touching the receiver, the go “SCREEEEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHCCCHHH” which is not only mind numbing, but also defeats the purpose.

Tying to understand what’s going on in class, taking notes, and managing the constant feedback using headphones, I never answer in class anymore. Also I never answer in class because my deaf accent seems 10000% worse on camera. I have to repeat myself like three times for the professor to eventually just say ‘chat me’.

also since the beginning of this, hearing aid battery prices have SKYROCKETED. I don’t know why, maybe just because all medical supplies have gone up in price?

And then there’s masks. I 100% support wearing masks. You all need to wear masks, but it’s rough on the deaf folks, as we can’t read lips and sound is muffled.

Also when I wear a mask, it’s always weird with my hearing aids, either with the strap under or over.

It’s about creating your reality beyond this reality.

I think of us like PCs, like a home computer.

 And when we come into this planet, or a computer, it's downloaded with programs. It's downloaded with an operating system; I believe we have the same thing. And I also believe we choose our operating system for what we want to learn from, and what environment we're in and where we're going to be.

I also believe there's like a motherboard, right? That is Collective consciousness. Just like a computer, 95% of the programs that are running on there are already there.

 Then you're putting data in which plays with the software that's there, right? Well, it's the same thing with humans, because 95% of our lives are ran by that programming, subconscious programming. And we're not even aware of it, but it's running.

5% of our lives, we actually have input, we can shift that, and we can change that. We've got to change our operating system, just like a PC. You have this PC, and then you try to download all this new software.

 You don't know why it's not running. You don't know why it's not changing, but it starts to run, and then it has glitches and it goes back to the old software. It's because you haven't changed your operating system. You're still operating on that old software.

 What sacred activations does, magically, is simply just listened to the activation, and it starts shifting you and changing you. Sometimes the change isn't real fun at first, because you have all this stuff coming up. You will notice once it comes up and clears it doesn't come back. It doesn't recreate just like a PC. That programs been cleared off, it's gone.

 Then you have room for a better operating system. You have room to run the better software program. There's a lot of people doing these incredible, amazing activations, but most people can’t hold the energy because they have the old operating system. That's where I commend the sacred activations in the work I offer.
