Do you have to use the internet? Do you have Synesthesia, ADHD, Dyslexia, or anything else that makes reading/ focusing hard?
then OH BABY do I have the app for you. There’s a free chrome extension called Mercury Reader and I have no idea how I did online school for so long without it.Â
You download it and a cute little spaceship sits in the corner of your browser ready for you to click when you come across a hard to read bit of text. It then removes all colors, adds, browser clutter and other distractions and displays a really simple easy to read block of large (I think 13 or 14 point) Times New Roman text, black against a white background.Â
It’s amazing and as someone with a fun combo of synesthesia and dyslexia that makes it really hard to focus on cluttered web pages or anything involving colored text it is a life saver.Â
I only found out about it through tumbler so spread the word folks!Â
