Balancing work-life: There is no such thing as a perfect work-life balance. It’s about what you want to focus on and prioritising. When I’m at work, I’m a hundred per cent invested in it, and when I’m at home, I don’t think about work. Happiness & energy high: My kids. Watching them grow gives me utmost happiness. Walking into office and seeing smiling employees motivates me to keep doing good work. Dare Quotient: Never say never and take up all challenges. Winning trick up her sleeve: Keep a keen eye on small victories as in the long run they lead to bigger gains. One thing she says no to always: Giving up and not striving enough to achieve your goals under any circumstances. Life lessons learnt: As long as you do something to improve today and make it a little better than yesterday, you’re going to be successful every day. Just show up and do something you’re passionate about. Spiritual diet: Being positive, as it leads to a healthy mind and body. Success vs failure: There is no way to define and measure success or failure. Success for one is failure for another. Being successful or failing are subjective and not always black and white, at least in my opinion. I don’t see failure as an inability to succeed, but a different experience from the ideal. Every experience is a learning one, what is important is to try and not make the same mistake twice. On life challenges: Being an entrepreneur is itself a journey of challenges and there can never be a rule book to tackling them. Everyone faces some challenges in their lives and they have to handle it to the best of their abilities. It’s like the saying that goes, “Life is the most difficult exam, which many fail because they try to copy others, not realizing that everyone has a different question paper.” #abwenelson.
