I don't love when characters in my escapism media have to deal with too much misogyny, but I do love watching the villains suffer (especially when they seem to enjoy putting themselves in these very predictable situations)... it's a pickle.

I was just messing around with this episode because it’s fun, but it did get me thinking of a factory AU.
Union representative O’Brien is butting heads with factory manager Sisko, until McKinsey consultant Dukat shows up. He's instantly hated by everyone but especially by Kira, because McKinsey killed her grandma. Garak got laid off from his previous job because of Dukat and is plotting how to get his revenge. Bashir is not even in office management, he just hangs out there for the gossip. Jadzia is the one doing most of the work but she also likes to prank her colleagues by changing obscure computer settings that no one else knows how to find. Sales lead Quark is constantly keeping accountant Odo on his toes by testing the limits of what he can get away with. They hate each other. They are married. They have divorced at least once.
Jake is not enjoying Take Your Kid to Work Day.

Dukat is a problem.
I had intended to finish a more light-hearted DS9 edit and a Voyager edit but I have been attacked by a Dukat brainworm and have been unable to work on them. So, here's the first of probably multiple Dukat edits - I'm not 100% happy with it but I spent an intense two days making it and I hope that by letting go of it I can get back to doing stuff I'd rather be doing. Wish me luck with that - it's a struggle!
