sweet or salty: normally i’d say salty but i’m eating something salty right now and really craving chocolate about it so sweet in this very moment :(

last film: eddington! was more impressed than i expected to be by it too. before that did a back to back of zach cregger's films (barbarian & weapons)

last series: uhhh i think the last non-reality show i was watching was shadow & bone? otherwise back on the survivor & hell's kitchen train

sweet/savoury/sour: savoury then sweet then sour

tea or coffee: coffee coffee coffeeeeeee. love a weekend where i can wake up and just drink an entire pot of coffee (and experience horrors because well anxiety disorders). tea also slaps in the right context, love a chamomile in the bath. or a mint

last book: last finished was the left hand of darkness by ursula k le guin, last actively read (so currently) is the raven scholar by antonia hodgson which i am looooving

last movie: The Exorcism (2024). absolutely terrible film i can not recommend it

last tv show: started euphoria season 3 last night for something to do while waiting for new house of the dragon. it is kind of bad (euphoria s3) and didn’t actually get to hotd but maybe tonight

working on: mainly ffx au but i have descended down the path of remy/pedro and am loosely outlining some outdoorsy hookup. things. for them. as a treat for me. also some more genderbend art stuff that may or may not ever end up posted

18. have you ever changed fields in your career or education? i have not!! i moved across the country to the city i live in now straight out of high school, went to college for my ~chosen field~ and then ended up snatching up a job that i am still at to this very day. it’s actually my 15th work anniversary like. tomorrow lmao

23. what’s the coolest place you've visited? oh god toss up between new york and tokyo surely. as a canadian i had been suckered into romanticizing nyc via movies and tv and junk and then i went and was like oh no. it’s really everything i could have ever wanted in a city 😵‍💫 the energy there was unbelievable every time i went like. never have i ever been more inspired creatively perhaps?? and then tokyo. well. my heart lives there still. i love a city and i love trains so these two choices make sense. very looking forward to spending time in tokyo in october for the first time in YEARS (who knows if i’ll ever end up in nyc or the states again at all)

oh this is such a thing to clock 😭 first of all thank you for the re-read and for coming through to mention it!!! second of all yes like uhh i've been drawing my dumb OCs for most of my life, took some art classes when i was super young and of course had a long grade school weeb phase where i so badly wanted to draw manga but never really followed through? so then i did the next best thing i guess which was. i went to film school! so because of that i guess when i write i do sort of mentally map things out/storyboard, i'm so glad that comes through actually 😵😵😵

11. what was your childhood dream job? oh i wanted to be a marine biologist so bad i was (and still am) so obsessed with the ocean and its terrors but i also grew into having well just a whole cornucopia of anxiety disorders. so now i just watch video essays about the deep sea while working at the job i have now, which does not require any encounters with Toothy Blobs in the dark

25. what's a controversial opinion you have? i am sipping constantly on that haterade but pretty much all of the controversial opinions that i have go against my code of not shit talking things that other people like in a public forum 😔 so a more benign controversial opinion: peanut butter & pickle sandwiches are easily S Tier all timers. the ultimate sando to me
